Finding some chill out time is rare, but when we do – we do it well!  Potato Head Beach Club in Semiyak is all sorts of amazing. In an amphitheater style, the architecture is built using an unjust collection of teak shutters gathered from the 18^th century Indonesian archipelago creating an impressive yet rustic and tropical feel, while the inside is a wide-open space with several bars, a stage and swimming pools just meters from the sand. Potato Head is quickly becoming the place to party, hosting international dj’s and with an extensive cocktail list that is beyond delicious. Our suggestion (and the barman’s) is the kookobara, fruity and frothy need I say more? The owners want to use the venue for more than parties, so it also features film festivals and a regular organic food market. We loved it here, our only regret was not being able to stay, swim and sip for longer. Rock up, grab a lounger and graze poolside all day. You will not be in any hurry to leave.
