We are delighted to reveal our recent collaboration with luxury wedding dress designer Trish Peng. Alongside the Saben team, designer Roanne Jacobson and Trish Peng have created the ultimate bridal bag, combining Saben's timeless style with romantic luxe detailing inspired by Trish's upcoming nuptials.

The Juliet bag will be Trish's wedding bag to carry everything she needs from down the aisle to the afterparty! We even added a pale blue lining, so she can carry her 'something blue' with her. The best part? The Juliet has been designed with happily ever after in mind, effortlessly transforming into a clutch and mini bag for future events.

We sat down with Trish to get the inside scoop on her highly anticipated wedding day, and how she found the design process alongside Saben designer Roanne Jacobson.

How has the wedding planning process been? You work in the industry so did you know what to expect?

I’ve genuinely adored the planning process so far. I would definitely say working closely with our brides has helped me in terms of what to expect. However, being in the industry has also helped me with understanding timelines and knowing what incredible vendors we wanted to work with to bring our vision to life.

Has planning your own wedding been easier or harder than you thought? Spill the beans...

I wouldn’t say it’s been easier or harder, working closely with our brides on the daily I knew what to expect. In saying so, it has been a real time-intensive journey. However, we are so lucky to have our incredible planner Kath from One Fine Day who has been the biggest help.

Can you give us a hint about your dress?

My dress is very much true to my style and what the Trish Peng brand represents. It intertwines elements of all my favorite designs over the years.

How many dresses will you have?

This is a tricky one because I keep coming up with so many ideas, so let’s just hint at the possibility that there may be a dress change.

What are you most looking forward to?

I’m looking forward to seeing all the different elements come together and to share the experience with our loved ones by our side.

What’s been your fave part of planning the wedding with Tim?

I’ve loved how involved Tim has been with the entire planning process and how we have been able to combine both our ideas into one beautiful big shared vision.

Now, about the bag. How did this collaboration come to be?

I’ve been a long time Saben fan and have a few Saben staples from the collection. However, I had always been on the search for that perfect little bag that’s a bit dressy and elevated for events but equally versatile and practical for the day, and so the collaboration came about!

What was the inspiration behind the bag? What was the process like, working with Roanne, creating your perfect piece?

The inspiration was an epitome of my personal style tied in with the Saben aesthetic. It’s been such a fun journey working with Ro and understanding how much goes into the designing and making process of each Saben bag.

Anything else you want to share with our readers?

I’m just so excited to finally be able to share the bag with you all, it's going to be so rewarding seeing how everyone carries and styles the bag to make it their own which was a key point when designing.
